Moto Goodness

GOODNESS-as defined by the Random House Dictionary: excellence of quality; goodness of workmanship; the best of anything; essence; strength. To be forthright, it's only been in recent years that this obsession of "MOTO" has truly manifest, but the love is genuine. Motorbikes, Aeroplanes, Automobiles and all that is designed, built and driven to perform is appreciated.

Star Trek & Sci Fi

STAR TREK (The Original Series) was the beginning of a life-long, love of Science Fiction and Science Fact and all other things of a Fantastic Nature. Whether it was Comic Books, Live-Action Television, Motion Pictures or Animated Cartoons, the media did not matter, as long as it was a means to transverse space and time ... or alter reality.

Hammer of the Gods

THE HAMMER OF THE GODS A metaphor for music, how it can forge, shape and mold our lives. A means to transport and transform. I'm not a musical scholar or theorist. Simply, someone who has played and listened to quite a bit of music.  Just a bloke who knows what he likes and dislikes. Also, I'm a bass player, so expect a lot of attention paid to the bottom end!

Fool In The Rain

Ever wonder how it feels to ride a motorbike, look at the smile on that man's's like that.

With all this rain of late,  I was reminded of a little Sunday afternoon ride with my good friend, Dany, a few weeks ago. A few of us had planned to ride out to the Military Aviation Museum in VA Beach for "Warplanes Over the Beach" WWII era air show. Well early on in that afternoon, it was a bit misty and damp out and we had couple folks bow out, but Dany had sent me text asking " What time  do you want to ride out there?" Alright, trooper, so I called him up and he said he didn't mind a little drizzle, besides he had rain gear he wanted to break in and he  hadn't had a chance to ride in a while outside of commuting to and from work.

Whenever I'm riding in the rain, I tend to "hear" Led Zeppelin in my head, particularly, "Fool In The Rain".

Airheads in Blackwater

Commemorated the 4th of July by riding out to the Blackwater section of Chesapeake, with my brother, Bryan Condra, who had come down from Richmond. After enduring the heat indices of +100° and the unforgiving reflective properties of asphalt and concrete, we stopped by the Mullen Compound for a wee bit of celebrating.
